Run, Jump, Climb, and Crawl is a great guide for anyone who wants to train for any obstacle or marathon race. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first because it just seemed too good to be true - that a book could teach me this. And, being an armchair quarterback, I really wanted to see if I could be whipped into shape in 12 weeks time.

I liked the way the book is divided into sections depending on what type of race you will be doing. So, there's not need to waste your time studying a strategy for a race that you're not involved with. I found invaluable advice from the author who is someone who has obviously "been there, done that". And, who says "You can't think of everything"? I was really surprised at the level of detail that the Jacob Salt-Berry got into. The author spells out his many tips and tricks on - not just how to train, but what to wear, what to eat, and what to drink, and why. This invaluable type of information is often missing from other training books that I've read.

There's no doubt that I will now be ready for my obstacle course race inside of 12 weeks thanks to Run, Jump, Climb, and Crawl. If you are thinking of entering this type of racing then I highly recommend this book!

As a veteran obstacle racer, I've read just about everything there is to read on obstacle racing. This book provides a straightforward, easy-to-read guide for someone preparing for or thinking about their first obstacle race. The author gives sound advice on training for the first race, as well as what to expect on race day. Although it's probably not applicable to the experienced racer, I would recommend it for the novice. I enjoyed the read!

This book has no content at all. Possibly the wrong cover on the wrong book or just a scam publication.

Really, really basic. If you've already done some obstacle races, there is little, if any, that this book can tell you.
