The United States obstacle course racing championships kicked off today with a three-kilometer short course in Mountain Home, Texas. Athletes from around the country traveled to take part in the time trial style race. Heats of eight racers were sent out every minute with awards for the top age group athletes. For the pro heat, it was a mass start for both the men's and women's races.

Preliminary Results with Penalty Details
