Community Members of the Week: April 28 – May 3, 2019

Happy Friday from Mud Run Guide! May is here and OCR season is in full swing. We'll have live coverage coming to you from Savage Race Maryland this weekend, so stay tuned to Facebook and Instagram!

For now, though, let's check in with our community members of the week!

First, we have @MikeyDoesOCR who is excited to make it to the weekend. Balancing family obligations and training can be tough, but Mikey's got this on lockdown. Good luck with the training!

Trying to push through Thursday to get to the weekend. With weekends freeing up from family medical obligations, I'm eager to use the weekends for training again. . Whats your weekend looking like? Hikes, trail runs, the gym or a rest break? . #MikeyDoesOCR

Our next community members of the week are @emanon2121, who is making racing a family affair by encouraging his daughter Gabriella, who did her first Spartan Kids race last weekend. She looks like a natural out there!

So proud of Gabriella… She has been wanting to see me race for a long time. I asked her if she wanted to do a race herself and she screamed YESSSS! She had no idea what the race consisted of. Nevertheless she was excited and willing! So proud that she conquered every part of the Spartan Race and taking head on each unknown obstacle. She is already looking forward to the next one!
