About Tara Skinner

After losing 120 lbs I was looking for new ways to keep me motivated. In walked OCR. That was 5 years ago and I havent looked back. I now run about 15 different OCRs and 6 local 5ks a year. I hike and weightlift to help me prepare. This is a lifestyle for me..its how I spend my weekends in the summer and a way to put my training to the test. The people I have met along the way and the new things I have learned about my body have made this a journey I am so glad I embarked on.

Gear Review: DgearOG Gloves

By |April 11th, 2017|

I decided on my clothes but wasn’t sure what to do to protect my hands and still be able to use them properly. Regular winter gloves would have kept them warm but would have provided no grip. I did some research and decided on DGearOG Obstacle Course Racing Full Fingered Gloves.
