Race Start Time:

First wave starts at 9:15am.
Runners without canines will be released in waves of 10, 3 minutes apart.
After all the runners have left we will begin releasing the canine teams 1 at a time in 2 minute intervals.

US Canine Biathlon The U.S. Canine Biathlon was created not only for those who love the challenge of obstacle racing, but their canine companions.
The U.S. Canine Biathlon is open to all types of Handler-Canine teams including Civilian, Military, or Police Dog teams.
In addition, the race is open to challengers and thrill seekers of all ages and experience levels.
Scores will be determined not only by time, but also criteria based on the age of both the runner and the canine partner.
The U.S. Canine Biathlon is also open to individual entries who wish to complete without a canine partner.

Course Description:

The course will be set on many different surfaces and there will be changes in elevation.
There are over 15 obstacles to challenge the runner and their canine partner.
The obstacles vary from low crawls, hurdles, pools of water, large ""A"" climbing obstacle, to climbing over vehicles.

Aid Stations:

We will have water points at each obstacle with orange slices at the finish line.
EMS will be on standby as well as veterinarian support.

Awards:

Overall Champion, Canine Team “Top Dog”.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in Each Category (Law Enforcement, Military, and Civilian, Woman’s) with canine.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Runner only.
Youth Group for age 16 and under. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The fastest Male, Female and Child (under 16) will be tracked minus the age handicap for course record and will receive awards.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.
There will be designated viewing areas and they may also roam the course freely.

Parking:

Parking will be on site and is free.

Post Party:

There will be a post party BBQ with entertainment

Other:

The proceeds will help fund the AMK9 Academy Canine Memorial Wall, dedicated to all Working Dogs across the globe.
There is no minimum age as long as accompanied by an adult.
The event will be timed, there will be water obstacles but not a need for swimming.
There will be wash down areas after the race for you and your canine partner.
