Course Description:
For All Fitness Levels. 17 totally redneck obstacles that combine running, climbing, lifting, sliding, balance and MUD over a hilly terrain!! The course is divided into 3 sections: “Half-a-Redneck” Course (1.5 miles/8 obstacles), “Completely Redneck” Course (3 miles/ 17 obstacles), and “Lil' Rompers"" Kids Course (1/4 mile/6 obstacles).
Never competed in an adventure race before? Don’t get your overalls in a bunch! The Redneck Romp is for all fitness levels and the obstacles are all very obtainable. Not saying they are a cake-walk, because they will challenge you too. The “Half-a-Redneck” will have less intense obstacles, but don’t be a Bacon Eating Chicken, try the “Completely Redneck” course and let out your inner Redneck!
Aid Stations:
There will be water stations and port-a-pots throughout the course.
Prizes:
Prizes will be given to the best male and female costume!
Spectators:
Free for Spectators!
Roam the course to cheer on their favorite Redneck.
Parking:
FREE Parking is south of the course.
Space is limited.
Carpooling is encouraged.
Post Party:
Stay for a post-race Redneck BBQ, pictures at our Redneck photo booth, and to cheer on other Rednecks as they complete the obstacle course.
Other:
Most importantly all the proceeds will benefit West Holt Medical Services Foundation Staff Development & Scholarship Fund.
So roll up your overalls and come hang out for a day of great fun, food, games and lots of Redneck filled muddy obstacles.
Team:
Running with a friend or a group is also encouraged. No sense in having all the fun by yourself.
This is a great way to get over some of the more challenging obstacles and you can encourage each other when the mud gets deep.
