Battle at The Brazos The Battle at the Brazos Mud Run is a 10K/6.2 mile rugged, outdoor, all natural 32 obstacle course on 450 acres of Brazos River bottom land. The course requires you to climb, crawl, wade and fight your way through some of the toughest terrain nature has to offer. The Battle at the Brazos Mud Run will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014. The run will take you through cattle pens, over round bales of hay, under barbed wire, over fallen trees, under an old house, through three stock ponds, alongside the river through heavy woods, down the river bank, and back up, through a dry gully and uphill through a plowed filed. All this and more while dodging cows, cow patties, gopher holes, knee high grass, ant mounds, and beaver dams. Food and drink are available for purchase, along with lots of other activities for the entire family.

Course Description:

The Battle at the Brazos Mud Run is a 10K/6.2 mile rugged, outdoor, all natural 32 obstacle course on 450 acres of Brazos River bottom land. The course requires you to climb, crawl, wade and fight your way through some of the toughest terrain nature has to offer. The run will take you through cattle pens, over round bales of hay, under barbed wire, over fallen trees, under an old house, through three stock ponds, alongside the river through heavy woods, down the river bank, and back up, through a dry gully and uphill through a plowed filed. Aid Stations:

Paramedics are on standby. Aide stations every 2 miles. Fruit and water at the finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators $10.00 and can roam most of the course freely. There will be lots of activities at the start/ finish line for all of the family.

Parking:

Parking is $5.00 and is within easy walking distance.

Post Party:

There will be food vendors on-site and lots of activities for all of the family

Other:

The event benefits the Faith Academy of Bellville Booster Club.
There will be a children's play area and obstacle course.
No water obstacles will be over knee depth.
There will be a shower and change area.
