Shale Hill Adventure Shale Hill Adventure Farm offers a unique training experience that utilizes both natural and man made obstacles to help build stamina and endurance that is unmatched with other training techniques. We focus on building a solid core that will enable you to increase your performance level for a longer period of time. We will make you mentally and physically strong enough to reach goals that you never thought were possible. We train everyday, rain or shine. We are not a fair weather group, but we do offer an indoor gym for those days that you just want to pump some iron or work out on our heavy bags.

Course Description:

SHALE HELL is an Adventure/Endurance OCR race for 24 hours of continuous loops on our 10K obstacle course. As you progress your requirements change each lap! ​24 Hr. Participant, it's just you and the course, 24 hours. It's dark. No fancy flood lights, just your headlamp. You're on your fourth lap and pushing to get another lap in. The 24 HOURS OF SHALE HELL takes you to your limits, and puts you beyond them.

Aid Stations:

4 Water stations on course plus porto-johns and water/washdown station available. No showers.

Spectators:

Spectator ticket available for $40

PARKING included in registration

PLEASE respect our ""NO DOGS"" rule! We have dogs, we love dogs, but for the safety and comfort of all our guests, we cannot permit outside dogs/pets on the property. Service dogs are welcome. Please notify us ahead of time. Service dogs must wear their certified harness and be with their owner at all times.
