Blenheim Zombie Run Library Strikes Back at Hurricane Irene with Zombies. Event begins at 9am; rain or shine. No contact event. Zombies will pull one health flag from runners passing by. The first runner across the finish line with at least one health flag will be our winner. The zombie with the most flags will also be awarded as Top Zombie! Food, vendors, music and laser tag will be on site after the run for purchase.

Other events will be free including a haunted house and children's costume parade.

Course Description:

The start and finish line will be at the Blenheim-Gilboa Visitor's Center pavilion, will take runners to the Minekill soccer fields via the Long Path, and then runners will return by the blue trail, at which point they will continue into the cedar fields north of the visitors center and back to the pavilion. The course is primarily flat, with slight elevation increases, but overall a nice easy trail course. As well it should be, the zombies will be planted through the course providing adrenaline rushes throughout the course! If you've registered to be a zombie you can come in costume OR be zombified on site at our Zombie station ($5 donation).

Aid Stations:

We will have an entire team of guards and staff scattered throughout the course. We will have folks on golf carts with radios and first aid kits.
Water station will be at the mid-way mark. Food and entertainment will be available for purchase after the run.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.

Parking:

Plenty of parking on site.

Post Party:

Lazer Entertainment will be DJing our event this year. Food and vendors will be on site post-race for purchase as well as laser tag and other fun events. Haunted house and children's costume parade will be free following the race.

Other:

All the funds generated by the run benefit the Middleburgh Library.

Team:

Welcome to race as a team; just sign up for the event the same way, but there are no official teams.
