Course Description:

The course is mainly flat with one or two short steep hills. There will be around 30 obstacles per race. These include cargo net crawls (crawling on all fours underneath a cargo net through sand and mud), cargo net climbs (climbing over cargo nets strung up approximately 10m high), climbing frames (climbing over frames and walls), tyre mazes (climbing, crawling and weaving through a mazes of tyres), domes (dome-shaped climbing frame to climb over), low ropes course (balancing along a low rope whilst holding on to a higher rope), ropes and monkey bars over water (climbing along structures set up over dams to get to the other side), spiders webs (climbing, ducking and weaving through ropes strung up like a spiders web), mud trenches (climbing and crawling through pits of mud), swimming through dams.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be available throughout the course, with two medics situated on the actual course and a medic team on standby at the finish line. Water will be available at the finish however food will only be available for purchase at the canteen located by the finishing area.

Awards:

The top three winners of each race will receive a prize.
First place is a free night for two at the Ramada Couran Cove resort at the Gold Coast. Second and third place prizes will include an assortment of Holt Bolt merchandise packages as well as a free entry to a Holt Bolt event.

A winner of each series will also be announced at the end of each calendar year who will receive all prizes mentioned above.

Spectators:

Spectators may attend free of charge however they will not be allowed access to the course. They may watch from designated viewing areas located near the start and finishing lines.

Parking:

Free parking is available at the venue however parking at the actual ground is limited so street parking may have to be utilised. All street parking in the area is free.

Other:

The Holt Bolt will be donating some of the proceeds from each race to the Ronald McDonald House SEQ charity.

All participants must be able to swim. All participants will receive a race time. Showers and toilets are available however the space is limited so participants may wish to make other arrangements.

Competitors may register for one race at a time or register for a whole series (6 races). Races will be held every two months.

Team:

Both team and individual registration is available, teams can be between 2 and 8 people.
