Course Description:
Curious about what it's like to be a firefighter? Our obstacles are modeled after the firefighter exam, academy and what we do on the job. Come challenge yourself!
Obstacles include:
1) Carrying equipment up stairs
2) Search tunnel
3) Dummy drag
4) Balance beam while carrying hose
5) Motivation board
6) Rucksack hill walk
7) Window hurdle
Aid Stations:
There will be first aid, an EMS ambulance and food & water at the end of the race course.
Awards:
Trophies go to top three finishers in the men's and women's heats.
Spectators:
Spectators are free and we will have a free festival to accompany the race that is open to the public.
Parking:
Relatively easy street parking.
Post Party:
There will be a DJ and lots of activities at the festival to enjoy: Firefighter Exam Filing, fire engine tours, bunker gear selfies, hose line demos, learn CPR, fire safety games, obstacle course for kids, free workouts throughout the day, giveaways, prizes and much more!
Other:
It will be a fun challenge for anyone curious about what it's like to be a firefighter.
