Race Start Time:

8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Heats are released every 30 minutes. 250 people per heat.
There will be a Challenge heat leaving at 8:00 a.m.

Run For The King Mud Run For The King is a family friendly 5k mud run obstacle course designed to test your all around strength, courage, ruggedness, and fellowship. We are talking mud pits, climbing walls, steep inclines, and way way more (don’t worry though; everything is designed extremely well and safe).

But even more than the actual race, we are offering a place for the whole family to come enjoy an awesome day together. That includes AWESOME music by Capital Kings as our main headliner, free spectator admission to the venue, and free participation in competitions just to name a few.

Marathons, a 5k, and a 10k only require you to run – on pavement. Triathlons employ running, biking, and swimming – but in the most simple sense. Run For The King on the other hand tests your strength, willpower, fellowship, and mental aptness through 6 miles of uneven terrain lined with over a dozen wildly different obstacles.

Most people coast through life trying to avoid anything out of the ordinary, and when something breaks the monotony they don’t know what to do. Run For The King takes monotony and flips it upside down. This mud run obstacle course race will take you way out of your comfort zone and toss you into a ‘battlefield’ lined with obstacles and like-minded people all seeking a common goal – to challenge themselves.

Run For The King is a place to build fellowship and strengthen relationships. Many participants will use the help of others, friends or other participants, to get through the race successfully.

Though the course is intense, the Run For The King event is completely family friendly. After a hard day’s running, climbing, crawling, and overcoming you can take a break at our after-party. With great food, activities like live music, kid’s obstacle courses, costume competitions and more, the whole family can have a blast and not have to worry about any bad stuff.

Course Description:

The course takes place on uneven terrain, over mud pits, crawling through tunnels, balancing across water, trails through woods, steep inclines and physically challenging obstacles. The course features 12+ obstacles throughout of varying difficulty and muddyness.

Aid Stations:

Run For The King has multiple aid stations throughout the race with various medical items and light food items - water, snack bars, etc.

Prizes:

We will be hosting a costume competition as well as some surprise competitions!

Spectators:

Spectators are FREE! They get to attend all aspects of the event aside from actually participating in the run.

Other:

Minimum age is for the 5k is 14.
1k Race – for ages 7-13
100m Dash – for ages 4-6
