Course Description:
This race will include 2 miles filled with 20 plus obstacles. These obstacles are not for the weak. SOAC will host a 2 -mile obstacle course race including 20+ obstacles. It might sound short, but it’ll be tough as nails and muddy as hell! Grab your team of 3 and don’t miss this opportunity to have some fun, earn your badge, and win some money! There are some that you have to climb over,duck under, and cross though! Do you think you have what it takes?
Aid Stations:
There will be water stations on the course and there will also be paramedics on standby.
Prizes:
The winning team will receive $500.00 to the station of there choice and $500.00 to split within the team.
Spectators:
Spectators are free however there is a $5.00 entrance fee. Anyone can join us for our post race celebrations. Spectators can walk in the designated areas around the course to see the racers.
Parking:
$5.00. Parking will be in the front of our property and the course is in the back so we recommend spectators wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Post Party:
We will have a ceremony for after the race that will include live music, food trucks, and lawn games and we also sell specialty ice cream!
Other:
This race is designed to honor all the men and women in uniform serving and protecting our country, The minimum age for the actual race is 12 years old and for this race we are only allowing first responders, current and retired. This includes fire, police, first responders, and EMS. There is however, a kids course for any children 4-12. We also have disc golf for anyone else! There will be a wash down station for competitors and a gear check. You do not need to be able to swim for any of the courses however, the Mud Run Course does involve water that can come to chest deep.
Team:
For this race we ask that everyone is in teams of three. If you would like to sign up as an individual we can randomly place you in a team.
