Course Description:

The Highland Mud Run is an exciting 5k obstacle run located on the property of North Highland Church. The Columbus community was devastated that the Highland Mud Run was not offered in 2015, but on April 30th, 2016 the Highland Mud Run is back and BETTER THAN EVER!

All proceeds from the Highland Mud Run go to the Real Life Youth Ministry’s mission fund. Our cause is an Assemblies of God Youth Initative called Speed the Light. Speed the Light helps equip missionaries all over the globe to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A portion of the proceeds will also go to ministry done here locally in the Columbus community.
Each wave will be timed. But remember this isn’t the typical 5K.. you will want to enjoy the obstacles and watching your buddies do them. Each wave will have a celebrated top finisher, and a personal timing mechanism (bib) is included with your registration.
If you think an obstacle is too difficult you may go around it, but why not try it. We encourage you to run with a buddy or a team to help each other at the more challenging obstacles. Image you good you’ll feel when you get to the finish line and you did them all or you at least tried them all.

Team:

We encourage teams. You will have more fun if you have a buddy to get muddy with! There will not be a special wave for teams. Come show off your best team spirit.
