Course Description:
This is a brand new race in the calendar at a brand new location. The course is still being finalised but so far we know that there will be some hills, lots and lots of woodland with many boggy trenches for maximum mud appeal. We will be using our signature obstacles - the water slides so there will definitely be some chilly lucky dips too! But do not worry, the run for the finish line will warm your body temperature back up ensuring you are ready to tackle 'The Final Frontier' a horror house of fun where you will have to leap onto 'Avalanche' if you want to grab a rope and have any hope of climbing to the top before descending into 'Labyrinth' where you will negotiate the internal tunnels in complete darkness. If you make it out of there you will find yourself at the very top of the obstacle where we hope you do not suffer from 'Vertigo' before throwing yourself down the deathly 'Drop Zone' and dashing to the finish line.
Aid Stations:
First aid stations will be available in the event village and throughout the course. First aid will provide a 4X4 ambulance and cycle response units as well as a normal ambulance, first aid tent and paramedics. There will also be a comfort station for anyone suffering from cold and water stations across the course and at the finish line in your goodie bag.

Spectators:
Spectators and supporters are welcome free of charge so please come and support the brave Xrunners and cheer them on around the course as they get stuck in the mud. Spectators are welcome to roam the course but please take note of any restricted areas and warning signs. Please look after your little ones - obstacles can be hazardous and we want to protect our future Xrunners.
Parking:
On-site parking is available at £5 per vehicle payable in cash to the traffic management marshals upon arrival.
Post Party:
There is no after party - the whole day is a party so please do bring some pennies for a well earned feed and beverages at one of the food & drink stalls available in the event village.
Other:
Minimum entry age is 15yrs and accepted with a signed parental consent form.
The course is a 5K lap which you can chose on the day if you want to quit or go around again for double the fun.
All marshals are professional, friendly and fully trained and briefed to help anyone in any situation.
Water Safety Technicians are present at all water obstacles for your safety. Although we advise you be a swimmer, being a strong swimmer is not essential at this race and buoyancy aids are available.
This is not a tough man challenge, this is an obstacle mud run for fun and your personal achievement so we will not force you to do any obstacle - simply go around if you have to - your safety and enjoyment is our priority!
Team:
You can enter as an individual or a team. You can select your preferred wave time during registration. Teams of X10 or more people entering in one transaction will receive an automatic discount of 10% off entry fee online. Remember to enter the exact same team name as your team mates please!
