No Mudders Left Behind!
All attire must be appropriately modest for a family event. Race wear should be appropriate for rough, rocky terrain as well as mud and water obstacles. Extreme temperatures may be encountered as this is Polar Bear Country. Expect everything you wear to be covered in mud and water by the end of the race. Combat type boots that cover the ankle are suggested as well as utility type pants.
The potential exists for serious injury or death due to falls, trips and crawling. Obstacles can be taken at any pace or skipped completely if the runner feels unsafe attempting the challenge. Safety is our number one priority for this event. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner. If at any time, race staff feels a runners behavior is dangerous to themselves or others they will be removed from that obstacle and perhaps the course. Please understand your abilities and consult a physician prior to attempting this race. The event calls for stamina, upper body strength and swimming. You may need the evaluation of a fitness professional.
