Race Start Time:
The first heat of the Extreme Race will begin at 8am, Basic Race at 9:15am, and Family Fun at 10:30am. Participants are asked to self report fitness level to help determine seeding for heats. In the past, heats have gone every 15 minutes.

Course Description:
The course takes place on the Augustine School campus which is wooded with small hills and gullies. The 2018 course is still being designed, but in previous years the Extreme Race had over 21 different obstacles including Flat and Incline Monkey Bars, Slip-n-Slide, Pallet Drag, Tire Wall/Rope Climb, Ladder Wall, Mud Hill, Olympic Rings, Ladder Jump, Super High Hurdles, Spider Web, 9 Foot Wall, Culvert Crawl, Truck Tire Carry, Hay Hill, Tractor Tire Cross (to name a few) which were encountered twice during the two laps of the race. The Basic Race was one lap and included most of these same obstacles. The Family Fun race included the obstacles that were appropriate for children and families.
Aid Stations:
In the past, EMTs have been present on site during the race. There are usually 3 or more refreshment tables along the course.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcomed to watch and cheer on their competitors. Roaming is permissible as long as spectators don't interfere with the race.
Parking:
Parking is available for free in the campus parking lot and next door.
Post Party:
Aside of the refreshments on the course, food and beverages will be available onsite for purchase.
Other:
Any money raised goes to support the Augustine School.
There will be a makeshift shower outside for participants to wash off after the race.
The minimum recommended age for the Extreme Race is 16 years old. The minimum recommended age for the Basic Race is 12 years old. The minimum recommended age for the Family Fun Race is 7 years old.
