Course Description:
An obstacle race over the hills and through the woods, swamps, ponds in beautiful Lake Villa Township. There will be a minimum of 12 obstacles.
There will also be a children's course for younger kids to have fun.
Aid Stations:
Fruit and water will be at the finish line. Paramedics will be on park grounds with committee members patrolling the course to help anyone out.
Awards:
Best time for Men and Women, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Prizes:
Awards for Best Costume, muddiest runner
Spectators:
Open to all spectators for free and we encourage friends and family to cheer them on.
Parking:
Parking is free and is right next to the registration station and near the start line.
Post Party:
Lake Villa Days will be taking place in the afternoon in downtown Lake Villa.
Other:
This is a family fun event. Proceeds will go to the Paul Yurs Scholarship Fund with the Lindenhurst-Lake Villa Chamber of Commerce and other local service organizations.
There is a kids obstacle mud run for the younger kids to have fun. The Mud Run is a timed event with a water slide at the end for participants to get clean afterwards.
There will be separate outdoor shower to also wash the mud off.
Team:
We encourage Teams to participate - teams must be a minimum of 5 people but can be as big as you like. Register early so all team members will be in the save wave. Just have fun!
