Course Description:
The adult course is a 5K and will include 18 obstacles of varying degrees.
This course is designed to appeal to all athletes, offering fun in a safe, family-friendly environment.
Obstacles include climbing, balance, crawling and hanging suspended with plenty of mud.
The kid course includes approximately 9 to 10 obstacles, challenging the small in size, but big in heart. And of course, mud!
Awards:
There will be roving judges, and awards will be given for various categories such as Best Costume, Best Team Theme, Best Team Spirit, etc.
Spectators:
Spectator areas will be available throughout the course so plan to be there and cheer your favorite runner or team over the finish line. Spectators tickets are available at the Registration Site.
Parking:
Ample parking available, however, carpooling is encouraged.
Post Party:
There will be a an Emcee and DJ hosting all day.
Food and vendors present.
Other:
ALL proceeds go to the construction of the Miracle League Baseball Field for special needs children, which will be built right there at Lear Park. A special ground breaking will take place the day before the race.
This will be the only field available to the children of East Texas, with some 18,000 children being eligible for play.
There will be a secure gear check, a wash area and changing tents available.
In addition, Outdoor Challenges will be filming for broadcast on area stations in addition to DISH Network at a later date.
Team:
Teams of four or more receive a $5 per person discount.
