Course Description:

The course will be approximately 4 miles on trails 95% of the time. Your joints thank you now… at least for the run.

Within those 4 miles, there will be 15 obstacles and M.O.R.E things like mud holes, mud hills, ice baths, culvert crawls, grape stomps, cargo net climbs and crawls, tire runs, rope crawls, and a few M.O.R.E. surprises along the way.

Aid Stations:

EMS will be onsite. Water and electrolyte beverage will be available.

Awards:

Alright! Here's how we are going to break things down. Are you a slight bit competitive? If the answer is yes, and you have entered the Individual "Competitive Category", you will be scored by "Decade Division." Awards include customized pint glasses, which you are welcome to put to good use after the race . . . if you catch our drift.

Since we want everyone to have M.O.R.E fun, we want to encourage you to go all out. There will be an award for the best costume and messiest participant to name a few . .

Spectators:

There is not a spectator fee, but we do charge a $10 parking fee for all cars that enter the park.

Parking:

For the over achievers out there, you are welcome to ride your bicycle, unicycle, tricycle or skateboard out to Lake San Antonio. Remember, it is 29 miles from Paso Robles and 40 miles from King City, so don’t wear yourself out on the ride to M.O.R.E.

For the rest of us that prefer to drive our cars, trucks and amphibious vehicles, there will be parking available at South Shore in the Lower Lynch Parking lot.

Be sure to park where you are directed to park. If you park in the wrong area, your car could be blocked in, towed or sat upon by an elephant.

After parking, it will be a short walk to the start line and M.O.R.E. Since this is a fun event, load your car up with all your friends and family. The M.O.R.E. the merrier. The daily parking rate is $10 per vehicle.

Post Party:

Alright, now that you have completed the race what’s next? M.O.R.E fun! We will have exciting live performances on our festival stage (prepare your dance moves now), food and amazingly delicious Sierra Nevada beer (for those over 21 of course).

If you camp overnight with us in the park Saturday night we will have a free movie at the ampitheathre at Redondo Vista. Movie starts at dusk.

Other:

We salute Active Military. Use Coupon Code 2014Military20 to Save $20 Off Registration.

When you register for the event, you can request to be in the competitive wave, which will be timed by our platoon of garden gnomes brandishing clip boards and spray paint. The gnomes have been discussing a penguin watching trip in Antarctica, so you may be timed by our professional timers instead. Either way, we’ll get you M.O.R.E. results.

Otherwise, we want you to have M.O.R.E. fun. That’s it. Fun. If you still want your time, don’t bring your grandfather’s pocket watch, it will be M.O.R.E dirty than a high school gym sock. Slap a cheap watch on your wrist, have your mom use her phone to time you (why isn’t she running with you?), put a sundial on your car, or turn over an hourglass at the beginning and try to finish before all the sand makes it to the bottom. We will also have a timing clock at the start and finish of the race you can peak up at and declare whatever time you want. No matter what you do, we want you to finish, have M.O.R.E fun and enjoy the time out on the course with M.O.R.E participants.

Team:

Team packages include one night of camping (either Friday or Saturday). Camping passes are issued per vehicle, so we certainly encourage carpooling!

In lieu of a Relay Category, we have the Team Category. Put a team together and encourage each other along the way!
