Course Description:
The Iron Viking is the ultimate challenge of 2015. Are you a obstacle runner,a runner, ccommando, ultrarunner, bootcamper, marine, crossfitter, triathlete, survial runner or an other allround athlete and you think you can handle this legendary challenge? Subscripe now for 42km of offroad track with 100+ obstacles and 2608 vertical meters.
The Iron Viking takes place at saterday the 23th of may 2015 at Spaarnwoude, near Amsterdam. In this beautifull but hilly terrain you will climb, swim, jump, run, crawl and will have to work toghetter to conquer all the obstacles! In the coming months we will reveal little by little obstacles you will be facing in this challenge.

Prizes:
At the Strong Viking Run we are giving away a prize for the best dressed individual Viking and group! How can you participate in this competition? Upload a picture of yourself, or your group, in your costume at the finish line on our facebook page and the winner(s) will be chosen the day after the run!
Spectators:
Free! Of course you can watch the run! We are happy to welcome you and your friends! And it’s all free, the entire track and the homage after the run.
Parking:
From 8 AM you can park your car (costs €5,- only cash accepted)
Other:
Participation in the 7km track is possible from ages 14 and up, and the 13- & 19km track from ages 16 and up.
After the strong Viking it is possible to wash yourself. We have four points where you can do that. However, we don’t have shower cabins.
Every participant gets a wristband that can be used for the guarded cloakroom. Volunteers will explain the system to you at the run.
We have separate dressing rooms for men and women.
Every obstacle has a walk by. It’s your own challenge so nothing is required!
We have a clock at the start and finish of every Strong Viking Obstacle Run so you can measure your own time. However we don’t have a time registration. The Strong Viking is about your own challenge and helping other Vikings completing the run, its about making it to the finish, time doesn’t matter.
