Race Start Time:
Race will be limited to the first 1000 registrants. 75 participants will be sent off every twenty minutes. Please plan on being at the race 1 hour before your wave start time to allow for registration and parking.
9:00 – COMPETITIVE WAVE – REGISTRATION IS $5 MORE PER PERSON
Open waves every 20 minutes from 9:20am until 12:00pm.
Family Waves (8 years & up with parent) at 12:40, 1:00, and 1:20

Course Description:
5k course with 25 obstacles
The 5k course will include 14-16 obstacles on the scenic trails of Wason Pond in Chester, NH. Be prepared to run through tires, scale walls, and get wet before crossing the finish line to bask in the glory of your accomplishment.
Aid Stations:
We will take every precaution to keep participants safe, but there are risks inherent with obstacle course races. You enter the Wason Pond Pounder at your own risk. We will have EMT’s and ambulances on site all day.
Prizes:
For the fastest times in the 9:00 competitive wave we will be awarding cash prizes.
Parking:
Wason Pond has limited parking so all parking for participants and spectators will be at Aggregate Industries, 91 Chester Rd (Rte 102) in Raymond. Parking is FREE. There will be handicapped and emergency vehicle parking only at Wason Pond. We will have regular shuttle buses that will bring participants and spectators to and from Wason Pond. Shuttles will be very frequent but please factor this additional time prior to your start time. There will be no parking on route 102 or on roads surrounding Wason Pond. We made a commitment to the residents on these streets that there will be no parking in their neighborhoods, please help us with that.
Post Party:
A number of local food vendors will be on hand serving food and drinks to refuel your muscles. Be sure to bring some cash. We’ll also have some great music to keep the party going after the race.
Other:
There will be an area that you can drop off your bag before your start time.
Each participant will receive a timing chip (DO NOT TROW AWAY THE TIMING CHIP AFTER THE RACE OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE CHIP).There will be marked receptacles to put your chips in at the end of the race. If you would like an accurate finishing time you MUST START DURING YOUR REGISTERED START TIME! If you are running the family wave in addition to your regular wave make sure you only wear your chip for your designated start time.
100% of all race profits
go back into local communities and charities. All proceeds will benefit the Chester Charitable Foundation, a non-profit group raising money to support charitable endeavors in our community. Your race registration is considered a tax deductible donation.
If there is an obstacle you are unable to or uncomfortable with completing, you will have the option to bypass, UNLESS you are vying for a prize in the competitive waves.
No, there are no showers available. However there is a pond so feel free to jump in and wash off. We will have changing areas available.
