Start times will be announced a month or so before the race. For 2014, elite males started at 8:00am, elite women at 8:30am, with age groups starting every 30 minutes from 9:00am

Organizer:OCR World Championships The OCRWC is the first truly independent global championship for the burgeoning sport of Obstacle Course Racing. It is a singular independent event created to unify, promote, and increase participation in the sport of OCR while celebrating its amazing athletes and community. Featuring both an individual and team race, the OCRWC delivers everything you love about Obstacle Course Racing in one amazing weekend. All Obstacle Course Racing World Championship individual competition participants must qualify for the event by meeting the criteria outlined here at ONE of these 2015 races. Athletes are required to submit proof of results at the time of registration.

In the event of cancellation by OCRWC organizers, participants will be issued with a full refund of their registration fee. Refunds are not provided otherwise.
|Registered athletes unable to compete due to injury may defer their spot to the following year. The following year’s registration fee is not waived in these instances.|
|The OCR World Championships are intended to be a competition between the best obstacle course racers in their respective divisions. As such, transfers of race entries are strictly prohibited. Athletes found to be in violation of this policy may be banned from the World Championship and future OCRWC competitions.|
|Athletes must qualify at a 2015 event. Refunds are not availabilty if an athlete fails to qualify|

The course will be approximately eight miles in length and will marry natural elements with some of the most challenging obstacles in OCR. While the course will share some of the same terrain and obstacles as other Mud, Guts, & Glory events, a significant portion of the course and obstacles will be new to athletes and unveiled only on race weekend.

There will be aid stations along the course. Last year, we had 5.
Cash/prizes are awarded to the top team in each category - male, female, and co-ed.
Criteria for team competition is as follows:
- Teams of 4 athletes are required for competition
- ONE member of the team must meet Qualification Requirements and/or Journeymen Requirements
- Teams will be required to race and finish the course together
Spectators will always be free
There is no onsite parking available at the race venue. All athletes and spectators are required to park at the Fort Ancient parking lot ($10 per vehicle per day, cash only), located 1⁄4 mile from the race venue. Hang around in the festival area after the race and cheer on your fellow competitors. There will be vendors booth, food vendors, and great views of some of the most exciting obstacles.
All OCRWC participants must qualify for the event by meeting the criteria outlined below at ONE of these 2014 races. Athletes are required to submit proof of results at the time of registration. For full qualification criteria, see here, but at the time of publication, included a certain placing at the following races: Spartan Race, Savage Race, Mud Guts & Glory, Warrior Dash, Terrain Mud Runs, True Grit Series, and Atlas Race.
Participants may also qualify under the Journeyman/woman exemption.
For 2014, teams of 4 ran as pairs of 2. Once one pair finished, the second pair went off. The total time was used to determine the winners. The 2015 competition is expected to be a different format, that has never been seen in OCR before.
