Race Start Time:
There will be no back-ups on our course so we limit each wave of runners to 200 doomsday survivors to avoid overcrowding. In short, Dooms Day Dash strikes the perfect balance between fun and physicality with our day-long party and action packed course.

VIP Parking - Race Day: Prepay for your parking and you will get VIP parking as close as you can get to the Start/Finish Lines! Literally the furthest away you would be is 300 Metres! Now that is convenient! | |

Course Description:
Looking for your next adventure? How about a day filled with epic obstacles, music and great times?
Dooms Day Dash is a 5-7K Obstacle Race with Alternate Routes and Skill Challenges! So this is whats going down! Earth has suffered an extinction level event and now you must learn to survive and complete challenges to get food, water, and even gas! Some of our key obstacles will represent these survival elements. It’s not a timed event or a race, it’s a challenge to get you to work together and make it to the new world!
Finishing in under 1 Hour will be considered a successful completion of the course and will earn the runner a medal, cold bevy and a t-shirt. However, there will be an upgraded medal and high status for finishing in under 30 Minutes! There will be obstacles unlike any you have ever seen before at any other race. We will have some standards for the industry like wall climbing and barbed wire crawls, but with our own twists. Then there will be many that no one has ever seen before.
Here's how it works: Register for the race and you'll get a chance to run our 5-7km course filled with obstacles designed to push you to your limits! While you're waiting for your turn on the course, you'll get to hang out with thousands of other maniacs in the quarantine zone where you can visit our vendors, play muddy tug-o-war or just hang out and listen to the music while enjoying some tasty food or beverages.
Our courses feature more than twenty obstacles constructed by an experienced crew of doomsday technicians. You’ll climb over walls, slide down water slides, jump over fire, crawl through tunnels of mud and face a host of other challenges all while running through a combination of forests and rolling fields. Aid Stations:
There will be 3 Aid Stations as-well as mobile units with paramedics.
Water will be available at those stations, with the option to challange to for such items as power bars and sport drinks etc!
Prizes:
There will be prizes from all our sponsors, prizes for best costume etc. More details to come in 2014.
Spectators:
There is no spectator fee at this event. The Spectators Area is setup at the start and finish lines which is actually in the Camping Section. So friends an family are welcome to watch as long as they have a camping pass. Camping is Only $25 whether you camp for one night or the weekend!
Parking:

It is sure to be a fun weekend for all ages, and is in support of Tweed Minor Hockey Association! There are many great local attractions throughout the Municipality of Tweed to enjoy the entire weekend. Take in a round of golf, walk or ride the Trans Canada Trail, enjoy beautiful Stoco Lake, visit the farmers market, exotic Lama and Ostrich Farms, grab a bite to eat, or visit our many shops and more.
