Course Description:
The second challenge of 2018 takes us to Pembrey Country Park. In 2016 we introduced the first beach based OCR in the UK. In 2018 expect it to be bigger and better! Still combining that fabulous Welsh terrain we know you all love but with some new additions!
We’ve teamed up with Ultim8 Warrior again for 2018 so you can start your kids on their OCR journey! The Challenge is a chance for kids to complete either a 1, 2 or 3km course to earn their finishers medal! They can run with their friends and enjoy conquering over 15 obstacles. They’ll be jumping, climbing, carrying and crawling at every turn!
Parking:
There will be parking available at a charge of £5 per car. Cash only.
Post Party:
There will be street food, a fully licensed bar, kids activities, live music, late night movie, camping, hot showers and fireworks to ensure that the day finishes with a bang!
Other:
The minimum age is 14 years and over. At some of our events we have a Junior Challenge, which is open to ages 4 and above. We will require signed parental consent for anyone under the age of 18.
Expect at least one lake crossing. You will have the option to swim or pull yourself across with the aid of a rope. Of course you can always just miss the obstacle out altogether, a marshal will be there to direct you to an alternative route.
There are hose down and male/female changing areas. We even supply the shower gel!
