Warrior Creek 5k The Taylor County Farm Bureau is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating the community on the importance of agriculture and farmers to the local and national economy.
This race will help allow us to continue educating the youth in our community through agriculture programs such as youth ag day, ag literacy reading program, and Taylor County 4H. Another goal Taylor County Farm Bureau hopes to accomplish by hosting this race is to expand future ag based programs for youth in our county.

Course Description:

The Warrior Creek 5k is being hosted at Perryland Farms.
Race course will be a wonderful scenic route.
Race will begin in one of the hay fields and trail runners into a large area of natural timber.
On this beautiful and natural trail you will cross Warrior Creek in two locations.
One of the crossing will be by floating bridge.
Next, you will pass by Adams Cemetery that is located in the middle of the hayfield.
This cemetry is rich in history and has head stones from the 1800s.
Then you will come to a field with beautiful oak trees and pass by a pond.
Finish line will be at the poultry barns and blueberry field.
The race route might be muddy through the first part of the race if we have a rainy season this year.

Aid Stations:

We will have water stations. Paramedics will be on standby.

OVERALL FASTEST MALE
OVERALL FASTEST FEMALE
TOP FINISHERS IN THE FOLLOWING AGE GROUPS: 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55+

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to cheer on their favorite runner. However, no animals.
Spectators are asked to register as well to be out on the course.

Parking:

Parking will be free.
Carpooling would be great if you can.

Other:

All proceeds will go to benefit education in youth agriculture programs.
After the 5k awards ceremony there will be a kid fun run that is offered for 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Kids that register receive a t-shirt as well.
