Race Start Time:

The first wave is at 9:00am (ONLY competitive wave) for the event. Waves are every 15 minutes, the last wave will be at 12:00pm. About 300 people per wave.

Course Description:

SMR Lands in the Desert of Phoenix March 12th 2016! Natural Mud Pits & 20 Tough Obstacles, You Are in for the Muddiest Day of Your Life!
20 extreme obstacles that will leave you exhausted & muddy proving you Survived!
Mud Pits-several muddy pits to get through
Woven Webs-nets to get through
Low crawl-army crawl under low nets
Cargo Climb-verticle woven ladder
Hurdles
Monkey Bars
Muddy Bayou
Planks
Dooms Day Hill-make it over large slippery muddy hill
Log Jam-crawl under or over multiple horizontal ""logs""
Tunnels

It is up to the participant to complete each obstacle, if the participant does not feel they can complete the race or obstacle it is their responsibility to leave or avoid the obstacle all together

Aid Stations:

We will have a halfway water station along with a bottle of water for participants as they cross over the finish.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall Male and Female finishers who compete in the Competitive wave.
Winner will get an awesome Tiki Trophy that will be given at awards ceremony around 11:00am.

Prizes:

Prizes for best costumes.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and to stay in designated areas. They can participate in finishers festival area.

Parking:

We recommend carpooling. Parking is $10 per car. Parking in onsite at location, no shuttles will be available.

Post Party:

Beer, bands, food and fun will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first wave. Beer Tent and Food Tent operational hours are subject to change, due to weather, state and local restrictions.

Other:

Minimum age is 12 years old to participate.
Participants assume all risks &medical expenses if needed during or after the race
. All participants will brief themselves as to where the medical tent is located when they arrive for the race.
we will have outdoor showers available for rinsing off, a female and male changing tent.

Team:

Groups of participants are welcomed to make team names to register under, however these are not official teams and will be used for their own purpose. No team scoring or awards are given.
