Heroes Challenge The Heroes Challenge is roughly 4 miles of police/fire/EMS themed obstacles. This race benefits the non-profit organization Supporting Heroes, which provides financial and peer support to the families of first responders killed in the line of duty. It's a unique, challenging, fun, first annual event that's open to runners age 14-114. It's also a spectator event for those who choose not to run. We are having an emergency vehicle show and the Hot Hat fire helmet contest. We're looking forward to a fantastic event!!

Course Description:

Heroes' Challenge is a race full of police/fire/EMS themed obstacles, guaranteed to be fun and challenging. Each obstacle is specially designed to give the participants an idea of situations that responders might go through. We're joined by more than 30 different departments, from several different states, representing nearly every realm of public safety.

Aid Stations:

Each obstacle will be manned by a police/fire/rescue department. There is also a Recovery Area at the finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and free. There will be an emergency vehicle show as well as the Hot Hat fire helmet contest and other family friendly features.

Post Party:

The HC is a family friendly event with fun for all ages, even children and non-runners. Come see emergency vehicles of all kinds including, police cars, fire trucks and helicopters. We will also have demos by search and rescue dog teams.

All departments participating in the HC do so on a volunteer basis. These are active departments. We reserve the right to pause the race at any point if an emergency call is received. Thank you for your cooperation.
