Course Description:
This promises to be an excellent time for all ages with a challenging 5k course as well as a kids dash all on the shores of beautiful Lake Piru. We will have 4ft walls, 5ft walls, 8ft walls, double stacked cargo containers, fire poles, 16ft tire ladders, cargo net climbs, crawling tubes, balance beams on land and in the water, bear crawls, water slide and more with lots of mud. Deep, sticky, gooey mud. Yessss!!!
Aid Stations:
We will have water onsite so stay hydrated
Prizes:
This race will be a costume race and we want you to get as WILD as you want, PG-13 please, there will be kids present. Think 60s hippy, lawyer, police, animal prints and head gear or go the other way with tutus and ballet tights. The WILDER the better and there will be an excellent prize for the best costume adult, best costume child, best costume family and best costume team.
Parking:
Parking is $10 paid to the Lake upon entry at the main gate but the actual parking location is right next to the race area.
Post Party:
Our pre race party and dinner the night before will start at 6pm and go till 9pm, camping at the lake is HIGHLY recommended (mention the run and recive 10% discount on camping call the lake for reservations 805-521-1500).
Other:
Bring a change of clothes and a towel so you can rinse off, in the lake, and change into something dry for the ride home.
