Course Description:

The course is a bit different this year. It begins with a sprint through small obstacles to get into good position for a scramble up the Rock Slide. This brings you out onto the rugged trails 300ft above the Spectator Area. You will continue on another uphill journey to the Rock Face Revenge. This is a climb up the rock face using ropes and a cargo net.
More trail running across the ridge top will eventually drop sharply back down to the flat, where you will head into the ""swamp"". Here you will face the Mud Mounds, Stepping Stones, the Belly Crawl, the Tunnel of Tenacity and many more water and mud obstacles. A photo op will be in place to capture your finest muddy moment to add to your Before/During/After souvenir photo.
The next section turns back toward the Spectator Area and crisscrosses the creek to find climbing walls, swings, and agility obstacles. This route contains the Tarzan Swings, the Great Tire Wall, the Zip Line, and much more before it reaches the Waterfall Crossing.
Another climb up the steep, muddy Butt Slide begins the path to the ever popular 150ft Water Slide, then to the last climb up the Finish Line obstacle to ring the Achievement Bell.

Aid Stations:

We will have water and snacks for the participants at stations on the course. There will be one EMS Tent in the Spectator Area with EMT's on site. An ambulance will be on standby.

Prizes:

Top five Jackpot Race winners of each Division will receive cash and a medal.
Prizes will be given for: Best Costume for male and female in each age group, Best ""Twins"", Best Dressed Group of 4 or more

Spectators:

Spectators are FREE! We ask that Spectators remain within the Spectator Area where they will have close up viewing of the Start and Finish, as well as sight of many other obstacles. We also plan to provide LIVE Stream coverage on TV screens of multiple remote areas of the course so friends and family can watch the action while having a snack and sipping on their favorite beverage.
We encourage Spectators to avidly cheer on the participants, especially at the Finish Line Climb to ring the Achievement Bell. Provided seating is limited, so please feel free to bring your own seating, and a shade/rain cover if you like. Concessions and a coffee stand will be available. Spectators may register to VOLUNTEER for the day, and earn food and their own Event Tshirt.

Parking:

Parking is FREE! There should be plenty of parking very near the Spectator/Registration/Start/Finish area. If we do need to use overflow parking, there will be a free shuttle. Updates will be sent to participants ahead if it looks like this may be a possibility. Because the Parking is so close, we will not have a gear check.

Post Party:

We will have LIVE MUSIC until about midnight with an outdoor dance floor. Concessions and a beer garden will be available.

Other:

There is no minimum age! We have purposely kept entry prices low, and the value high, so that our event is affordable for the entire family to participate.
We want to make it challenging enough that the "Big Dogs" find it a worthwhile training course... but we also want a fun, encouraging, positive environment where everybody can try something new, and families can get outside TOGETHER! Parents will be the judges of what their children are capable of, and what they feel is safe for them to attempt.
There are plenty of highly competitive races out there already... we are going for solid challenge, with no stress.
The Jackpot Race will be timed. The Unlimited Run will not. However, we will hang a big clock at the Finish so you can see how you did.
The water level in our "swamp" area is weather dependent, especially in the Spring. Some water obstacles may be rather deep at times. If you are not a swimmer, you have the choice to bring lifejacket devices, or to even bypass anything you don't feel comfortable with.
We will have a Men's and Women's Shower/Changing Tents. There will be FREE HOT showers in each.
We are striving to provide an experience that participants and spectators look forward to every year. We want to bring a positive event to our community and also create a means to offer support to some of our local charities. Our vendor area also offers local groups a means to put in some creative effort and raise their own money.
The beauty and peace of this valley is spectacular. Those from a distance will find it well worth the drive. Come Join Us!

Team:

The only Team offering we have for this run is the Best Dressed Group (4 or more) contest.
