Whether you are training for a survival race, a mud-race or marathon, want to improve your physical coordination to minimize chances of injury, or become comfortable moving outdoors at night with ease, this training course will help you to gain confidence with outdoor movement before the next off-terrain

What You Get:
- Scrapes, bruises and possibly wet gear.
This is a course that would run everyone through general off-terrain movement and conditioning. This would include running on all terrains, movement through the woods (crouch walking, crawling, prone crawl), water movement, and climbing. This class will last approximately 2 - 3 hours at dusk, at an appropriate intensity. All movements would be focused on specific movement, strength, and endurance necessities. The course is designed to help runners learn how to prepare for survival or extreme races with an emphasis on body awareness and injury prevention.
There are instructors trained in wilderness first aid that will be on the course.
Since this is a night training course, spectators are not encouraged.
This is a remote location -- off the GPS grid.
Carpooling is recommended and directions are emailed out in advance to all registered participants.
Parking is free.
Whether you are training for a survival race or marathon, want to improve your physical coordination to minimize chances of injury, become comfortable moving outdoors at night with ease, this 2 - 3 hour training course will help you to gain confidence with outdoor movement. This comes from being comfortable with moving over uneven and challenging terrain, from testing physical stamina and from improving awareness to become part of the environment.
Pairs are encouraged. Individuals are $30 each but pairs get a discount at $25/person.
