Race Start Time:

The first wave starts at 9am, and a new wave will start every 15 minutes. The last wave should start around 1pm, depending on total participation.

Course Description:

The 5k course is mostly flat and may be muddy depending on the weather. Participants must make their way through 8-12 obstacles and may need their teammates' help to accomplish some of the obstacles. The obstacles are designed to be challenging, but most participants of all athletic levels will be able to complete them, including children.

Aid Stations:

Water station on course; water available at finish line.

Prizes:

Best costume prize.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and may purchase a plate of food for $5.

Parking:

$5/car - carpooling strongly encouraged! Parking is at the race venue.

Post Party:

Hawaiian food, beer garden (Georgetown Brewing), Hawaiian music, luau dance performances, and lots of vendor booths!

Other:

100% of the proceesd from the event benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the fight to cure blood cancers. Free gear check is available. There are no changing facilities, showers, or heaters at the luau so we ask that people come prepared for the weather.

Team:

You must have a team of two or more people (unlimited size) to compete - you may also sign up as an individual and we'll match you up with a team.
