Course Description:
The race starts and ends at Marchant Arena in Springdale, Arkansas and is run on an undeveloped, rustic area of Northwest Arkansas. Located in the beautiful Arkansas Ozarks, the course features extreme hills, underbrush and lots of trees, a stream bed and ponds. And that’s before you factor in the ultra-challenging obstacles you’ll have to navigate to complete this 5K race. You may even see a wild boar!
Bring your piglets to this year’s race and let them wallow and play in the mud while you run. Kids age 3 through 11 are invited to play in the mud, squirt each other with water, and a number of other fun, muddy activities while our volunteers keep watch over them.
Spectators:
Invite your friends, family and co-workers to come race with you or watch you run. We will have lots of great spectator viewing and it’s free to come watch and check out all the fun! Spectator maps will be available.
Parking:
Preferred parking is $10 per car for the day. Regular parking is $5. Limited preferred parking is close to Marchant Arena where the race will begin and end. Regular parking is a bit of a walk from the arena. Parking passes may be purchased at time of registration, during packet pickup, or the day of the race.
Post Party:
Plan to stick around for more fun – pig out on food and beer and enjoy some great entertainment at our recovery party. Even if you don’t like the idea of running the race yourself, come on out and join the party anyway.
