Race Start Time:

Race starts at 10:00 with groups of 10-15 participants being launched every 3-5 minutes.
Crusher Kids Race starts at 12:00

Organizer:

Crusher Race It's the baddest, most awesome, muddiest test of your stamina, mental strength, camaraderie, and fitness. There are different races depending on your level of fitness and the amount of fun you want to have. Obstacles, Running, Mud and Beer all for the benefit of local charities.

Crusher - (Beginner) This intro level course will get your heart racing and your body muddy. A significant challenge for the first timer but a fun time for everyone.   The only question is: Will you crush it or will it crush you?

Crusher 2 - (Experienced) You have messed around with 5ks, trail running and hit the gym a bunch so you think you're ready. Let's find out. You start by running the Crusher with your friends, but as their adventure ends it's time to get serious. You will need strength, stamina, agility and mental fortitude to survive. We have extended your course for several more miles and designed obstacles that WILL crush you. Only through support and cooperation will you and your fellow Crushers conquer your fears and make it through. And for that you will be rewarded.
• Distance: Approx. 10k total
• More challenges - More fun

​Colossal Crusher (Elite) More than an Obstacle Course Race - a multi part event to test your total fitness ​
Part 1) Strength - You start by moving through various stations of functional fitness. Squats, Burpees, Push Ups, Sandbags, Kettle bells - Who knows what we will come up with before you head out for part 2. ​
Part 2) Endurance - You run the entire obstacle course with your friends (10k) before tackling your final challenge. ​
• Distance - 10k+
• Obstacles - If you have to ask - you are not ready
• Perfect test for the experienced Crossfitter, Endurance Runner or Athlete

Course Description:

With 3 different levels the course can be as tough as you choose.
The layout is primarily flat farmland with multiple water crossings along tributaries of the Meramec River.
High rocky bluffs boarder the riverfront farmland which the course path traverses several times.
There are 15+ obstacles and physical challenges for the Crusher.
30+ obstacles for the Crusher 2 and Colossal Crusher.
The Colossal Crusher also starts with a series of 6 fitness stations that Crush you before you even start running

Aid Stations:

Minimum of 3 aid stations.
Paramedics, fire department at the venue.
Lifeguards at the larger water obstacles.
All participants get free unlimited beverages (Beer (over 21), water, soda).

Awards:

No awards ceremony.
No Age Groups

Prizes:

During the race spotters will be handing out prizes for people who are ""Crushing It"".
This may be because they are dominating an obstacle, helping out a competitor, failing at an obstacle but really giving it their best effort, having the biggest smile, the worst crash and burn or any number of reasons.
Prize winners will be people we think deserve recognition for the way they tackle the course and not just for the fastest and the fittest.
Prizes range from race swag to prize packs by our sponsors.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.
Designated viewing areas except for the Crusher Kids Race where parents may track along side the kids course

Parking:

Parking is adjacent to the course and is managed by the venue: $10.
Carpooling is recommended.

Post Party:

We stay, drink, and dance until everyone decides they have had enough.

Other:

There is something for almost every fitness level so face your fears and CRUSH IT!

Team:

For all events except the Colossal Crusher people are welcome and encouraged to grab their friends and race together.
The Colossal Crusher has a Team Category for groups of 4.
The physical challenges are adjusted in duration, weight and complexity for the teams
