Starting at 8am, waves of 250 athletes will be released every 30 minutes across 2 groups (Elite and Open).
Heats of up to 250 people will leave at the following times: 8am Elite Heat, the Open Heats are from 8:30am onwards.

Course Description:
The Reebok Spartan Beast: This is our most difficult of the three. The Beast will test not only your endurance, perseverance and grit, but also your mind. The 13+ Mile Beast packs more than 30 Signature Spartan Obstacles and your final hurdle to Spartan TRIFECTA glory. It won’t be easy but you can’t believe how good the medal feels at the finish line
There are some staples in our repertoire. There are also some venue specific and terrain inspired obstacles. We will not, however, spell it out for you. We do not have course maps. Each Spartan Race strives to surprise the athlete. Preperation for the unknown is a must.
There is fire, mud, water, barbed wire, and occasionally Hell on Earth. There WILL be obstacles to catch you off guard. Curve balls, so to speak. Get over it.
We’re here to rip you from your comfort zone. If you need a road map for each step of the way, then maybe this race isn’t for you.
Aid Stations:
We have medical staff at the race. Their headquarters will be easily marked with First Aid Banner and is near or in the festival area. There will be at least one aid station on course and there will also be water at the finish area. Carry extra hydration and fuel if you think you might need it.
Awards:
There is an award ceremony for the top female and male Elite competitors.
Spectators:
1 for $10 or family group of 4 for $20 online. Spectator tickets sold at the race are 1 for $10 or family group of 4 for $20 (CASH ONLY).
Parking:
$10 cash only (Parking details will be available a week before the event).
Other:
Ages: All Ages (14+ years to race the adult race). Adult must sign a waiver onsite for racers under the age of 18 years old.
Heat Confirmation Time: Your heat time is located at the bottom right of your Chronotrack receipt.
Junior Race: For ages 5 to 10 years of age only. The cost is $22 online and $27 on race day. The Junior Race takes place on a miniature Spartan course, with mud, obstacles, and lots of fun! All Junior Spartans receive a medal and t-shirt for finishing the race. Just follow the registration process online to guarantee a spot. The Junior Race begins at 11:30am on race day.
Youth Races: The Youth Races are ages 11 to 13. This was new to Western Canada Spartan races in 2015. These races will start at approximately 10:05am each day. We will send out an email closer to the date to confirm start times. This age group will race on part of the adult Spartan Sprint Race. The distance will be between 2.5 to 5kms. Each racer gets a medal and a t shirt. This race is untimed. All youth racers must have an adult sign their race waiver and they must be present at event. Registration Pricing: $40 Until Feb 1st, $45 until April 1st and $50 until race day, $55 on race day.

How does it work?
Create a team or join a team! The more people on a team, the more money everyone will get back in their pocket! Each team member will receive a discount, refunded to the method of payment used, a few days prior to race day. The discount escalates as the team size increases, so get more friends to join your team and everyone saves more money!
How many people are needed to make a team?
Teams are unlimited with a minimum of four people! Team members are timed individually and are not required to cross the finish line together.
Which team takes home the prizes?
The fastest 4 times of the team will be used to calculate the team's finishing time. Prizes will be awarded to the team who finishes on top!
