VIEW MORE DETAILS

Course Description:

26 obstacles. We do NOT use barbed wire, electricity, or fire to challenge you. Our building and course team create man-made and obstacles that will challenge all levels of fitness as well as using the natural terrain in creative ways to add to the advure on the course. *We are still working on the course because of the devistation the beach incurred by Hurricane Sandy. If you find that still cannot complete that obstacle, you will be given an alternate task by the race officials at the obstacle. There will be race officials/volunteers at most obstacles, most of those officials will be military personnel. The task they give you is entirely up to them, it probably won’t be easy, it probably wont be fun, you might really want to give that obstacle your best ‘college try’.

The clean up effort at the beach is an ongoing process. We are working with DEM, town officials and Coastal officials to design the course and all other aspects of the race. We will continually update the website and social media sites.

Aid Stations:

There will be medical personnel on the course. Yawgoo Valley Search & Rescue will be there providing medical services.
We will have two water stations on our course this year as well as bottles of water at the finish line

Spectators:

Spectator fee – $5.00 (Children under 12 years are FREE, must be accompanied by an adult) . All spectators entering the spectator’s areas must sign a race waiver before entering

Parking:

Parking Fee – $5.00 per car. Yawgoo Valley Ski and Sport has limited parking facilities. To combat this we encourage carpooling – we have secured off-site parking at Carousel Industries, Route 2, Exeter, with busing provided to and from Yawgoo Valley. Each heat will be assigned a parking area.
There is NO PARKING on Yawgoo Valley Road – area will be monitored and violators may be towed. Limited street parking is allowed on Mill Pond Road – DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS. Violators may be towed. The word of the day is Carpool!
