Course Description:
Join thousands of other Spartan Kids for the ultimate day of fun and fitness in the Northeast's Spartan Kids Race! It's the greatest deal in town.
While just an hour north of New York City, Stamford Connecticut is a true bustling metropolis in its' own right. Growing to prominence in the sevnties and eighties as a more affordable location for New York businesses, Stamford is many southbound travelers from New England's sign that they're almost to the Big Apple. Touting a young and vibrant downtown with plenty of breweries and bars, local theaters (including the filming of the Jerry Springer show should you be so inclined), and exciting nightlife any Spartan could find a night of entertainment while celebrating their victory in Stamford's downtown. Local favorites include Cafe Sylvium, Remo's Brick Oven Pizza, and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.
Spartan Race isn't just for adults. Our Spartan Kids Race offers two distances for the little Spartans in your life. Based on age, our Kids races have obstacles in them just like the grown up versions. Come watch your future Spartans run, jump, and play just like they're supposed to.
Mill River Park is a 12-acre transformative space in the heart of downtown Stamford. Frequently described as a “mini Central Park”, a quick tour reveals a beautiful sparkling and free flowing river with dozens of new species of wild life, a brilliant community-built playground, and 3 incredibly landscaped outdoor activation areas for our Spartan Varsity Obstacle course. In the next 2 years, they will complete 28 acres of revitalization, including the placement of a Carousel, a Discovery Center Building for environmental education and an Ice Skating Center and Interactive Fountain.
Spectators:
Want a front row seat to all the Spartan action? Spectator will be FREE for the event, but you MUST RSVP in order to reserve your ticket. Enjoy the music and watch your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the relative safety and comfort of the Spartan Race festival grounds!
Parking:
Parking will be free for all racers and spectators at the parking locations below.

Want a piece of the action yourself running next to your child? Pay just a lil more to actually run the course with them. Sorry Parents, T shirts and medals are for the Kids only but we’ll gladly give you a cool head band and a high 5 along with a piece of the action.
Kids in the 2k event can be supported by an adult if needed. We ask that you stay to the side of the course and off of the obstacles unless you are registered as a race along.
Kids running in the 4k event. We ask that at this age unless you are a registered race along that you allow them to run by themselves while you get to roam in spectator areas and greet them at the Finish line.
