First wave goes off at 2:00pm. Waves released every 30 minutes. We are sending off a maximum of 150 participants per wave.

Course Description:
The course terrain is manmade hills and dips. The footing is grass, sand and clay. Shade trees are throughout the course. All obstacles are permanent, and we currently have over 20, including the muddy ones. This course will challenge all fitness levels and allows for participants to go around obstacles that they are not comfortable doing. Obstacles include, 2-12' walls, 2-5' walls, 1- 12' slant wall with ropes to help, tire run, 4 sets of hurdles, 3 log piles, rock pile, balance beams, tunnel slides into mud pit, buried tunnels that you crawl through, elevation changes in low areas to crawl under nets, cargo net wall, and the final mud pit belly crawl to the finish line.
Aid Stations:
There are three water stations on the course. The course design is set-up that most areas are visible by obstacle spotters and spectators. The local fire department will have a unit on site with personnel. Water will be offered at the finish line, and we are working on offering fruit at the finish.
Spectators:
No spectator fee. We created the spectator area in the middle of a good part of the course. Spectators are not allowed on the course!
Parking:
Parking is on-site and is marked to maximize the property we have to work with. We need people to carpool, so we encourage carpooling. The cost per car is $10. In the event we need to expand, we have plans for additional parking and shuttle.
Post Party:
The event will have music and a DJ/MC. There will be food vendors. No after party at this point is planned.
Other:
A portion of the proceeds of event registration and sponsorship sales will go to Heroes In Action. Online registration provides an additional spot to make a donation. They receive 100% of the donated money through this option. Heroes In Action is a charity that provides support to our active military by packing and sending care packages monthly. They also provide support to our veterans by providing transportation to appointments, aid with household items, mental support, and so much more.
The minimum age for the full 5k course is age 11. The family wave is 1k and is for kids age 5+, along with a parent. This family wave is also for participants that are not ready for a full 5k course.
This event is not timed. There is a bag check available at no charge. We have built a permanent wash-off area with drainage to prevent pooling of dirty water.
The course does not have standing water, or water that you have to swim through. The water is fresh, but not drinkable. Obstacles are not located by any runoff or creek/river. All water obstacles are created the day of the event. Water obstacles are NOT located near portable restrooms.
Team:
During registration, participants can register and create a team to make it fun. We encourage costumes too!
