Course Description:

10km, 21+ obstacles – this is for our Mud Heroes looking for the next challenge.
Mud Heroes looking for the next challenge should look no further than our NEW Ultra 10k, debuting at our Toronto North event! What takes our Ultra 10k to the next level is more than just the extra distance. We feature six harder challenges on top of the obstacles and mud featured in our 6 km event. These include a sand bag carry, a Platinum Rig with monkey bars, and assorted obstacles featuring easy or hard options.
Have you completed a Warrior Dash or Mud Hero event, and are ready for the next challenge? Looking for something tougher but still plenty of fun, without the electric shocks and Burpees of a Tough Mudder or Spartan Race? Mud Hero Ultra obstacles will be more physically demanding, and our regular 6km course will include an additional 4km, for a total of 10km. Not to worry if the obstacle is too hard, you have the option of doing an easy section, or skipping it (no burpees required!).

Aid Stations:

Two water stations on course and one at the finish

Awards:

Mud Hero events are timed, so you can challenge yourself against your friends or last year’s personal best.

Spectators:

Free! Why would we charge your friends to watch you have fun?

Parking:

$10p per car

Post Party:

The spectacle of Mud Hero is like no other! With DJs, live bands, cash BBQ, sponsor give-aways, live demos and alcohol/non-alcohol drinks, enjoy the festivities as you cheer your fellow Mud Heroes on to the finish.

Other:

Mud Superheroes can create their own unique ways to help our official charities, or you can run in support of theThe soul of Mud Hero is the charities. And sometimes having a higher purpose is just what you need to try something you never though you’d do. Be a Mud Superhero by collecting pledges to sponsor your run, or simply by making a donation to mark the occasion. organization that’s most important to you.
The minimum age to participate is 14, as of December 31st of that same event year. The same applies for all volunteers.
No worries – you won’t need to swim at any Mud Hero event. The deepest water won’t exceed four feet. If you can’t complete the obstacle, or you're afraid of it, we have staff overseeing each obstacle to help guide you over it. If you still can’t complete it, you can simply go around it. No penalty!
A 6 kilometer obstacle event is not the same as a 6 kilometer run on pavement; it takes considerably longer and it’s a lot tougher. Mud Heroes generally take between 30 minutes and 2 hours to complete the course. An average completion time is a little over an hour. Very few people sprint it, some jog it and some walk it — but everyone has a great time doing it!
There is a free bag check at Mud Hero! It can be found beside the registration tent. While you race, we will have members of the Mud Hero team stationed at bag check all day, keeping your items safe and sound.

Team:

The only thing better than getting muddy by yourself is getting muddy with buddies. Mud Hero encourages participants to complete the course with friends and help them over obstacles. While each entrant will be timed individually, most people consider time with friends more important than their own finishing time.

If you know at least 10 friends who want to be Mud Heroes, then register as a group by contacting info@mudhero.com to receive a discount code for $5 off per Hero. This discount code will only last two weeks, so make sure your entire group registers within that time period. As long as you all sign up for the same wave time, you’re good to go. But hurry, popular waves sell out early.
