RUN ZOMBIE RUN is a 5k obstacle race that will train you for the coming zombie apocalypse. Not only is it a race against time but a race for survival from blood-thirsty-brain-eating ZOMBIES.

A portion of the proceeds from Run Zombie Run to be donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Course Description:

5k (give or take) race through The Haunted Forest at Algonkian Regional Park with a series of natural and unnatural obstacles.

Before the race you will be given a flag belt with three flags. Make it across the finish line with one or more flags and you survived. Simple. Maybe not. Not only will you have to navigate the course and the obstacles... there will be zombies on trail trying to get your flags, eat your brains,...and worse. If you lose all your flags and cross the finish line ""flagless""... you died.

Located near, but not on, the trail there will be health trees with flags. You may replenish your health flags at any time during the race. Runners can have no more than three flags at any one time. Don't be a greedy pig... greedy pigs get EATEN, or worse.

All the runners times (Survivor or Zombie) will be kept and posted, at the Finish Line and online, immediately after the race.

Awards:

All runners (survivor or zombie) that successfully navigate the obstacle course will receive a medal.

Awards will be given for the top three (3) survivors in the following age groups, and male and female category

• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40+

Food, drinks, and snacks available (bring cash)

Any participants may elect not to complete any obstacle on the trail. If they choose not to complete an obstacle they will not be eligible for the ""Finishing Awards"".

Participants under 18 need a parental consent form
