First Wave: 9:45
Last Wave: 3:45.
Heats go every 15 minutes.
Two waves of all women, 50 people.
Co-ed: 50 people per wave.
Youth Wave (age 7-13) 25 per wave.

Organizer:

Hard as Nails Family and community focused mud race to better yourself and better your community. This race supports the Growing Home Organization and is designed to challenge all racers. Hard As Nails event includes two separate courses: 5k fifteen element obstacle mud race for adults (14 years and older); 1 km six element race for youth (4 years to 13 years old).

Course Description:

Race will be be challenging and test endurance and agility for all ages and fitness levels. 15 challenging Obstacles for the Adult Race, 6 Obstacles for Kid Race. Description of each obstacle will be included on website shortly.

Aid Stations:

There will be two aid stations per course staffed by EMT's. All water elements will be staffed by lifeguards. In addition to medical support at the aid stations, the stations will includes water and energy drinks.
At the completion of the event, each participant will be eligible for an age appropriate beverage.
The start and finish line will have water and energy drinks available for participants.

Awards:

Top three men, women, and youth racers will be eligible for event prizes.
Additional awards includes best costumes.
These awards will be given out throughout the event.

Spectators:

Spectators are not charged and have the ability to roam around the course freely.

Parking:

Parking is included at the event.

Post Party:

The race will have a post event in the finish area with live music, beer garden, vendors, and an awards area. ESPN radio will be covering the event.

Other:

A percentage of money received will go towards Growing Home, a local organization that helps families in need.
There will be a special race for kids.
Participants can skip obstacles if needed.
There will be no gear check, however there will be an area to rinse off after the race.

Team:

Participants can register as individuals or as teams. There will be women only waves, military, EMS/ firefighter, law enforcement waves in the adult course. Registration is through active.com.
