Race Day:
Date: Saturday, August 31st, 2019
Location: End of Race – Prison Brews (305 Ash Street)
Parking: Free public parking on Lafayette Street and Ash Street
Registration Fee: $40
Registration: 7:00am- 8:00am
Participants must sign waiver sheet, available at registration
There will be a holding room for possessions at the control center (envelopes will be provided to put the possessions in – name will be written on the envelope – envelopes will be transported to Prison Brews – not responsible for lost items!
Race: 8:30am -11:00am
The course will be marked and volunteers will be on course
Water stations will be available throughout the course – please do not bring food or water into MSP – thank you

Is there a map so we can see what all is involved throughout the race
We are hoping to have a detailed map with the obstacles and route done once this years route and obstacles are finalized. I would recommend checking out the video linked below to get a better idea of the obstacles and race.

Will there still be a race with the tornado damage? I really hope that there will be a race! Was a great time last year.
Yes, the race will take place as planned. There will be no significant changes to the race due to tornado damage.
Are we allowed to go around an obstacle if we are not comfortable with it?
Yes! You are able to go around any obstacle that you do not feel comfortable attempting. This will not result in any type of disqualification or penalty. The Prison Break Race is for runners of all levels.

The registration fee for The Prison Break Race is $40.00
Are there awards for top finishers? If so, how is the race regulated (if skipping obstacles is permitted)?
There are awards for the top three female and top three female finishers. There are volunteers at each obstacle, but there is no penalty for skipping an obstacle or no one is penalized for not being able to complete an obstacle.
