Big walls
Big obstacles!

Our obstacles are really BIG! Each of our military style obstacle has been designed and tested to push you to your limits but don’t worry, there will always be someone to give you a helping hand, be it someone in your team or just and another friendly racer. There is a great vibe in obstacle racing today and especially at Dirty Dozen Races. We’re all here to have a good time and that includes helping each out.

To keep our races exciting, we keep our obstacles under wraps until the event but if you want to see the obstacles at previous events, click here or click on the picture.

Finishers

For the first time, the UK’s fastest-growing sport has come together to select its first UK Champion. The best male and female obstacle racers in the country will gather to compete for the title of UK OCR Champion 2014.

Amateur competitors and the UK’s leading obstacle course runners will all compete on the same course – giving a unique opportunity for those new to the sport to pit their fitness against the best in the land. As well as the overall UK male and female champions medals, there will be a veterans category. There will be a cap on the number of athletes taking part set at 3,000 at each distance to ensure the event builds its status as one of the leading OCR competitions in the world.

The UK’s greatest OCR athletes have already committed to taking part. The country’s leading male contenders for gold: Jon Albon; Ross MacDonald, Ross Phelan; Rich Pringle; Richard Crewe; Sam Cherry; will be joined by the UK’s leading female OCR athletes Katie Keeble and Faye Caley. All will be looking to win here and travel to the OCR World Championships a month later as UK champions.

Anyone can enter the UK OCR Championships and compete alongside the best OCR racers in the country. But the UK Championships’ rules mean that we have to limit the number of places at each distance, so we’d advise you to reserve your place in the starting line-up now by clicking on one of the red boxes at the top of this page.

“We’ve been planning this event for a long time to ensure it’s a real test for UK Champions. We won’t reveal the exact obstacle combination until the day of the event, but I can say we’ve got a course that will test the best racers in the UK, yet still give most competitors a chance to complete the course.” – Doug Spence – Race Director
