Why Rage?

  • Release

    In this stage, participants are encouraged to release their pent-up anger, frustration, or stress by smashing, breaking, or destroying items in the room, such as glassware, electronics, or furniture. This physical act can provide a sense of immediate emotional relief.

  • Catharsis

    After the initial release, participants often experience a sense of catharsis, which is a psychological relief or purification of emotions. This stage may involve reflection on the source of their anger and a feeling of emotional cleansing.

  • Relaxation

    The final stage of relief involves relaxation and stress reduction. Many people report feeling more relaxed and calmer after their rage room experience. Engaging in relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or mindfulness exercises can help further alleviate stress.
