Community Members of the Week: Nov. 9 – 15, 2018

The 2018 obstacle course racing season is coming to a close with World's Toughest Mudder taking place over the weekend. Spartan has a few more championships (Kids, Para, and Ultra) remaining and awards season is just around the corner. With the season wrapping up Mud Run Guide community members are still out week after week taking on new challenges and races.

Spartan Beast – Glen Rose Muddy Edition 2018

Rough Creek Lodge is a really huge venue and space for a race.  I had not been to a Glen Rose Spartan, nor had I ran a Spartan Beast before.  I honestly had no clue what I'd expect from both aspects.   The venue and race will be a place I plan to continue going to for time to come.

Race Recap: Bonefrog Challenge DC

Bonefrog Challenge in Washington DC was phenomenal! Hesco Bonefrog is a Navy Seal owned obstacle course race that challenges athletes from all over the country. This race was located outside of Washington DC and what a better place than to honor our military and enjoy one awesome obstacle race.

When you find out your child has special needs as a parent your mind goes all over. What did you do wrong, how can you help them? As a parent, these thoughts never really go away, or at least they have not for me. My daughter has multiple diagnoses. Autism, a speech delay called Apraxia, Anxiety, and ADHD.

The rate of change within women’s sports has since become an exciting trend in the sporting world, encouraging new opportunities to engage a wider audience and develop interesting commercial propositions; creating a stronger sense of equality.
