Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Lots of Fun
The run itself was great, tons of fun! No complaints there whatsoever. My only suggestions for next year would be to: 1) Be more clear on which wave is running at that moment, it didn't seem like anyone really knew they just got into whatever wave they felt like. 2) The towels looked great, however sucked as towels. Absolutely loved everything else and I am looking forward to doing it again next year with a group of people.
Something that I've just got to try
I have never attempted this race before but have heard from my friend JG Green that this is a race I MUST do!
After completing my first OCR this year I gave got the fever. I would love the opportunity to run the 5k Foam Fest run this year and I'll stop at nothing to see that it happens.
AMAZING! Such a fun time getting dirty and full of foam! So many memories and tons of laughs were had! Can't wait for 2017!
Was a great girls away weekend. The course was great and the pre and post party was amazing!! Plus sunpeaks is beautiful!
I went to the 5K Foam fest with 3 other ladies and we had a blast! It was awesome! Very well thought out and exciting! Can't wait to go in 2017!!!!
Did this run with my 4 oldest kids. As soon as we crossed the finish line they asked if we could do it again next year! We had a great time. A fun family event!

Started doing this event yearly! Always a fun time, best 5K run in Alberta. Worth every penny, creating new memories and challenging ourselves to do better every year. See you in 2017
Awesome fun!
Went with about 20 other people from my family including my 8 year old daughter. We all had a great time and fun getting dirty and wet!

First participation. It was an extraordinary experience. A lot of fun.
There was a jam of participant at the large slide causing a long waiting time for the activity, but other than that, it was a joy to participate to this event. We will be back next year for sure.
I participated with my husband and two kids as well as another family. We had a great time and plan to do again but would offer the following constructive feedback:
- too much winding around in the sand. Ok with running on sand but would prefer more straightaways and wider paths as there were a lot of walkers to get around. Would suggest more straightaways on the beach rather than in the sandy forest
- not enough variation in obstacles
- virtually no photos were taken of my kids (those are the ones we are likely to buy) and limited of the adults
- parking directions were wrong and caused confusion and delay
- loved the fun non-competitive spirit for good family fun with no one being timed
