Poor signage, not sure which way to go sometimes. Almost NO ONE stationed on course, so no hope for help if you get hurt. Several broken obstacles, several times, you didn't really know what you were supposed to do, and with NO STAFF or volunteers to help/instruct. At the platform jump at the end, the volunteers instructed us (the only instructions I received on course) told us to jump in this VERY small area of the pool below. I am not sure why we weren't supposed to jump in anywhere else. The FEW volunteers on course looked to be random dudes pulled off the street, I'm pretty sure one of them was drunk. I do not feel safe doing this race and the only reason I am doing the one in Mountain HOme is that it is already paid for.

Cancelled, no refund :(

Cancelled race, no refund. I talked several people into joining me for this race (as a practice run for the Spartan Beast) and all of my friends lost their money. Bad form.

I always love CTG's...they are one of the most challenging OCR courses for mileage. I also love the fact no burpees or penalty runs to by pass an obstacle. You either stay there and pass it or lose you elite belt. That's how all courses should be, sign of a true warrior endure all the challenges head on not bypass them!

Favorite Event

CTG is my favorite race series hands down. They create new and challenging obstacles mid-season providing a challenge for even elite racers. For open wave competitors, you can help each other over the challenging obstacles. The family run feel and loyal fan following means each race is like a family reunion. Absolutely love it.

I had such a blast in 2015 that I signed up for this year's, I was sad when they cancelled but super stoked they gave me a code to use at any other race I will be at Dallas next year and look forward to tackling pegatron.

One of the Best

I've done a ton of OCR's the past three years and CTG always puts on a first class event. One of the best out there!

What a rip off

Jun 30, 2016 by Daniel strickland

This event canceled after having many people sign up and refused any form of refund. They offered access to other another race but that obviously would require travel and additional cost. They sent emails out telling each entrant that all the money collected had already been spent and there was nothing left to refund. Do not support these scammers. This can be a rip off. In what other industry can you charge money and not have to give it back when you do not provide the services paid for??!!!

I love CTG! I've run 5 Tough Mudders, a Warrior Dash, and a couple of local events, and none of them are nearly as good as CTG. I've run their Little Rock course every year since they started, and will keep doing so as long as they keep coming to town. I'm also road-tripping for CTG Tulsa this year.

The obstacles bring a great variety of challenge, from reasonably easy to downright hard. Bring everything you have and put it on the course, because they will challenge you. . . and you will find it very rewarding!

As others mentioned, the value is great too. There is no other brand that gives you as much for your money as CTG. I think a large part of that is because CTG is owned, managed, setup, run, everything by one really down-to-earth family with great old-fashioned values. I've met several of the Mainprize family, and they're just outstanding folks with a passion for OCR and their participants. It's very refreshing to be able to bring my business to a family that cares about us individuals, rather than a big corporate entity that views us more like cattle.

Ran in Little Rock and Tulsa. Overall a great event! Better obstacles than just about an other OCR race. Will be signing up to do several next year.

The Ultimate Mud Run, Obstacle Race and Adventure Race Guide , USA 4.3 5.0 42 42 This was my 5th CTG race. This is my favorite race series, hands down. The obstacles are challenging that some are hard to complete. The family that runs it is nice too. Their focu
