Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Connecticut and Fields Of Fire – Mystic present our GETTIN' MUDDY FOR KIDS Mud 5k obstacle course run!!! It's is a family friendly version of the the Original Mud Run, Spartan Race, Warrior Dash, etc. Hence, we will have obstacles throughout our 5k trail run but there will not be extreme obstacles with such things as barbed wire, electric fencing, ice water nor fire. Yet, it will still be plenty challenging!!! We have been told by many that our GMFK was more challenging than the WD. We offer two courses to meet the desires of ALL our adventurous friends! Whether you have done a mud run in the past or have always wanted to this is the one for you! And proceeds go to a GREAT cause!!



Gettin' Muddy For Kids 5k obstacle course run is a fundraiser for Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Connecticut. Most people assume that we get funding from the national BGCA automatically yet we do not. We pay a membership fee annually, we must apply for BGCA grants to receive funding and purchase our own programming materials via BGCA. Proceeds from Gettin’ Muddy for Kids Mud Run will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern CT programming which serves disadvantaged youth in Groton and New London. Membership is only $10 a month or less for which they have Club every school day for 3 hours and longer on half days. With your help BGC of SECT has the potential to transform a child’s view on life and create a culture of opportunity and success. Won’t you help us reach our goal?
