The Rough Runner by WILDR is a fun, adventure filled race weekend embodying the Alberta spirit, on June 1st-2nd, 2018.


You can compete in one, two, or all three of the events on June 1st-2nd, or come out to watch for free. The weekend starts with a vertical 100m sprint event on Friday night, followed by a 9km tough trail run Saturday morning, and OCR Saturday afternoon.But only participants in all three events will be in the running for the winners medals, able to claim victory as the Roughest Runner around.

We believe in challenge by choice, but if you miss an obstacle you'll be out of the running for a medal by McRae Silver.

We are proudly located in Pincher Creek Alberta, at Castle Mountain Resort!

Spectators:


Spectators can watch for free at this event, and the festival in the finish will be well worth attending. We ask that spectators cheer racers on, or better yet, volunteer and be a part of the event! (email us at events@wstrength.ca)

Price Increases:January 2nd, May 1st. (T-shirt Deadline: May 8th)
June 1st: 6pm-7:30pm: Check-in
8:01pm: Vertical 100m Sprint Mass start Women
8:11pm: Vertical 100m Sprint Mass start Men

June 2nd:
7:30 am: Racer roll-call at Start Line for 9km Trail Run
10am: Racer Cut off Time for 9km Trail Run

1pm-3pm: Heats for Obstacle Course Race leave on 10minute intervals
5:30pm: Awards

Heat times for the Obstacle Course Race in the afternoon on June 2nd will be released the week before the event.
