Yesterday, Marriot Rewards announced as part of their global partnership with Spartan Race that the cast of the popular NBC show, Friday Night Lights will reunite on the course at the Spartan Race outside of Chicago in June. The cast will train for the next month for the race on June 11th. The show ran on NBC from 2006 – 2011. This is the second show to run a mud run together after Grey's Anatomy ran a Tough Mudder together in April.

 In addition to the announcement of the global sponsorship. Marriott has picked up athletes Rose Wetzel and Ryan Kent who will be sharing training trips through the Marriott twitter handle. Read the full press release below.

Ten years after the hit TV show Friday Night Lights premiered, some of your favorite cast members — Taylor Kitsch, Minka Kelly, Zach Gilford and Aimee Teegarden – are reuniting to race as part of Marriott Rewards sponsorship of Spartan Race worldwide.
